Book a WA Wildlife Education Session today!
In addition to treating and rehabilitating Western Australia’s unique wildlife, we place a high priority on educating the community as to the importance of caring for the environment. WA Wildlife has expert staff to deliver educational programs for schools, community groups, conferences and training workshops for adults and tertiary training institutions.
Education and training sessions take place in the WA Wildlife Education and Training Centre which has the latest audio-visual equipment and overlooks pristine bush and our resident animal enclosures.
The Centre allows school groups to visit WA Wildlife and have a hands on interaction with amazing wildlife including wombats, dingos, emus, birds and reptiles.
Want us to come to you?
Can’t come to us? WA Wildlife also offers hands on incursions. We can bring a variety of animals to your classroom and deliver a program that is designed to your students’ needs.
If your school is in the Perth metropolitan region, we will come to you at NO additional travel cost!
We believe education should be as affordable as possible. Classrooms are larger than ever before and charging per student is not affordable for schools or parents. That is why we offer a flat rate education model.
All of our education sessions are charged at the following rate, regardless of the number of students. If you want to mix classrooms to split costs, we won’t charge the difference.
Kindy – Year 1
Year 2 – Year 6
Year 7 – Year 12
$175.00 (GST Inc)
$264.00 (GST Inc)
$330.00 (GST Inc)
Year 7 – Year 12 students can attend a 60 minute session for the same rate ($264.00 GST Inc)
WA Wildlife offers incursions and excursions to local schools (K-12) that engage students with issues of sustainable living, connection to land and self and the importance of biodiversity.
