WA Wildlife receives no government funding and was the first designated wildlife veterinary hospital in Western Australia. Each year the WA Wildlife Hospital treats and rehabilitates approximately 4000 sick and injured animals.
Sponsorships play a vital role in our ongoing fight for wildlife conservation. Money raised through our Hospital Sponsorship program helps us by:
- Paying for costs associated with our wildlife veterinary hospital (including veterinarian salaries – WA Wildlife treats all animals on-site).
- Funding essential wildlife rehabilitation programs.
- Building and maintaining wildlife rehabilitation enclosures.
- Funding general animal husbandry needs such as food and enrichment.
