Visit us!

For animal lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers and conversationalists alike!

Are you looking for an educational wildlife experience in the heart of Perth City? Welcome to WA Wildlife – your ultimate destination for connecting with and learning about our precious native animals!

Get ready to be inspired by the incredible work of our dedicated team, including veterinarians, veterinary nurses and volunteers. Start your tour with an exclusive 45 minute behind-the-scenes look at the bustling WA Wildlife Hospital. While you won’t interact with the animals during this segment, you’ll gain a unique insight into the compassionate care and rehabilitation efforts visible through our special viewing windows.

Our Surgery, Treatment Room, and Wards are soundproofed to ensure our patients heal in peace while you explore the fascinating world of wildlife medicine and rehabilitation.

After approximately 45 minutes in the Hospital, move on to our native fauna discovery area, where you’ll meet some of our cherished residents. Enjoy close encounters with majestic Dingos, Koalas, the adorable Vinnie the Wombat, curious Emus, Reptiles, playful Western Ringtail and Brushtail Possums and birds.

We’re not a zoo! Instead of rushing from one enclosure to another, you’ll embark on a fully guided, interactive wildlife journey that’s as educational as it is exciting.

Our tours are designed to educate and inspire, making them perfect for children aged 8 and above, teenagers, and adults.

Join us for an unforgettable wildlife conservation experience that blends fun with learning. Remember, every cent raised from our tours supports the WA Wildlife Hospital, fuelling our mission of care and conservation.

Hop aboard and embark on a voyage of discovery at WA Wildlife!

***Disclaimer: This tour is not suitable for children under 8 years of age due to the nature of the behind-the-scenes experience at the WA Wildlife Hospital, which includes no animal interaction for the first 45-60 minutes.

We recommend families with younger children book our 11am sessions on Saturdays and Sundays, which are designed to be more child and family-friendly.
